Eight years ago, if you asked the next people on our “Most Fascinating List” what they’d be doing right now, you’d get two slightly different answers, but with one main goal in mind.
For Jeana King, the answer would be steadily working toward building a functioning and thriving school system in Ngomano, Kenya. She had no idea things would move as fast as they did.
For her colleague Dr. Debra Akre, the answer is more along the lines of exactly what they’re doing now, not just building a school, but building a community.
