Bellingham Social Entrepreneurial Business Displays at the Sundance Film Festival

Tembo Trading, a Bellingham, Washington social entrepreneurial business displayed kiondos from Kiondos of Hope and Watoto Coffee at the Alive! Green Pavilion Eco Luxe Lounge Gifting Suites at the Sundance Film Festival January 20-22, 2012.  Watoto Coffee was gifted to celebrities and other A-listers who visited the lounge.  Some celebrities that visited the suite were Casper VanDien (John Rico, Starship Troopers and Brom van Brunt, Sleep Hollow), Kaycee Stroh (Martha Cox, High School Musical, High School Musical 2 and 3; Leslie, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody), and Michael Emerson (Ben Linus, LOST and Herald Finch, Person of Interest).

The Gifting Suite at the Alive! Green Pavilion Eco Luxe Lounge was made available to Tembo by Kathleen Grace Donnelly, founder, Fortunate Angels and Marc Palmer, CEO, Fashion Hope.

Kathleen Grace Donnelly has been involved with charity work for numerous years. She has contributed time and effort to many causes such as the battle against autism alongside Body Ecology founder Donna Gates. She has also worked passionately to improve conditions for inner city school kids from coast to coast. Kathleen continues to strive to make this world a better place.

Marc Palmer founded Fashion Hope February 2011.  Fashion Hope builds awareness and raises funds in the fashion industry to help rehabilitate survivors of human trafficking.  Marc engages a significant audience with the real images and stories of human trafficking, exposing what is perhaps the most gravest human rights atrocity of our time.

Tembo looks forward to being at Sundance in 2013!
